Grit City Scoopers (GCW) is an independently owned and operated business (“us,” “we” or “our”) that provides pet-waste removal services to residences, businesses and commercial properties, the customer (“you”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). By accepting the Services you hire us for, you are bound to these Terms.

 

SERVICES
GCW offers residential and commercial pet waste removal services. These services include One Time Scoop, Weekly Scoop, Bi-Weekly (Every Other Week) Scoop, Monthly Scoop, and Seasonal Scoop. All pricing is based on an area size no larger than half (½) an acre . Larger areas will have an additional charge. 

 

SERVICE TIMES

GCW is unable to provide time-specific appointments as there are many variables that affect the daily route. We will provide a service window on your service day but can only guarantee your services will be completed on your service day. 

 

ADDITIONAL FEES
The following are items we charge extra for:

• Additional Dogs after the first dog ($10/dog)

  • Prices are built on a single dog home, the additional cost is due to the additional waste.​

• Come Back request ($10/time)

  • If we have skipped the service due to an inability to access the yard and you request us to come back.

• Cleaning waste from areas with gravel/pebbles/rocks ($5/visit)

• Cleaning waste from decks/patios/sidewalks ($10/visit)

• Waiting to provide services ($10/visit)

  • If we arrive and you make us wait to perform our services up to 10 minutes, after 10 minutes the appointment will be considered canceled within 24 hours and charged at 100%

• Large property ($20/half acre)

  • Our service prices are built on a service area no larger than half ( ½) an acre.

 

BILLING
GCW invoices for our service(s) after each visit and are due upon receipt of invoice. A late payment fee of $10 will be added to each invoice that is late. Invoices are considered late after 7 days from the invoice date.

 

Any Customer that has an invoice that is not paid within 14 days of the invoice date or has 2 or more invoices late invoices may have services terminated.

 

SKIPPED OR CANCELED APPOINTMENTS

Any appointment where we are unable to gain access to the property will be skipped or appointments that are canceled within 24 hours will be charged at the full amount for that service.

 

SUSPENDING SERVICES

The Customer can suspend service at any time provided it is not within 24 hours of their next scheduled appointment. Services can only be suspended for a maximum of 45 days. If 30 days have passed since the last service date, an Initial Scoop fee will be applied.

 

The Customer will be considered an inactive client and will be required to complete the signup process again if services do not restart before the 45 day maximum.

 

TERMINATION OF SERVICE

The Customer can terminate services at any time. If terminated within 24 hours of the next scheduled appointment will be subject to the “Skipped or Canceled Appointment” policy.

 

GCW has the right to terminate services with any Customer at any time with or without cause.  

 

ACCESSING YOUR YARD
The Customer understands that if GCW can’t access the area, an additional  fee will be applied to the next scheduled scoop. Access means a dog free yard and an unobstructed, unlocked gate. If you need a locked gate, please provide either a key, combination, or code with us to ensure we don’t miss any appointments.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER
GCW will work through the rain and cold as long as we can safely do so. The customer understands we cannot work through severe thunderstorms, high
winds, extreme high or low temperatures, flooding or an accumulation of snow.
If you need the area cleaned before your next scheduled service, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee it.

 

CONDITION OF YARD

The customer understands that it can be difficult to find dog waste in yards with tall grass, excessive amounts of  leaves, mud, rocky areas, or other debris and some dog waste may be missed. GCW will pick up anything that was missed at your next scheduled appointment if your yard maintenance is complete.

HOLIDAYS, BREAKS, AND CLOSURES

GCW does not provide services on the following holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. If your pick up day falls on one of these days, we will pick up at your next scheduled appointment with no additional fees.

GCW reserves the right to fully shut down operations between Christmas (12/25) and New Years Day (1/1). If your appointment falls within that week you will not be charged any additional fees for your next appointment. 

 

GCW reserves the right to fully suspend operations with or without notice at any time, although we will try to give as much notice as possible. You will not be charged any additional fees for the first service provided after operations resume

 

REVISIONS
GCW provides the above Services to you subject to the Terms and Conditions of Service, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms and Conditions to our website. We recommend you visit the Sites to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute acceptance to any changes to the Terms and Conditions. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
